I am Leo Virgili and I'm a producer based in Friûl (North East of Italy).
I like to dive into every project, trying to show each artist their own work from a different perspective and work together to create a unique sound and add originality. I have spent most of my life working with bands and I continue to find it stimulating and funny. I creep into the creative process and
I try to push it as far as possible.
WHAT I OFFER
Although I am a studio engineer (recording, mixing, and mastering), I do my best to enhance and enrich all the productions I work on, starting from a blank page or by enriching a rough arrangement. I work in a small village in the countryside of Udine. My quaint studio is full of modern and vintage gear, available for use. When I work on more complex projects that require an increased space, I rely on a nearby “full-loaded studio”: https://eastland.it/. I enjoy mixing recordings in an array of interesting and unusual places, often transporting my equipment.
I'M ALSO A COMPOSER AND MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST
I frequently work on original scores for the theatre, dance/ballet, film, and artistic installations.
I'm an experienced session man (guitars, bass, keys, trombone, and electronics). I
